Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had many skills, such as being able to act, direct and produce plays, as well as write them teaching, as well as be the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk is the daughter of a Briton as well as the son of a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. She appeared in many commercials when she was a child.
